We are delighted to announce that Rob Britton has joined our team as advisor and would be lending his expertise to the aviation vertical of the company. COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the travel industry – with airlines arguably being one of the most impacted industries.
“Rob’s expertise in helping airlines recover from previous events (such as the 9/11), proves invaluable to our product team – focusing us on innovations and solutions that airlines will need to build trust and loyalty with their passengers, while driving multiple ancillary revenue streams as they recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. We welcome him on-board!” said Kunal Mittal, CPO, FrontM.
Rob has spent almost his entire career in and close to airlines. He was at American Airlines for 22 years in a range of leadership roles in IT, marketing, planning, and operations, and has had a long interest in improving the customer experience.
“I’m delighted to join the FrontM team, who have built a truly flexible platform to help airlines drive ancillary revenue and improve the customer experience – both of which are strategic foci for virtually every carrier in the world. The FrontM solutions are already flying with forward-thinking airlines like Air Asia, with more to come.” said Rob on his association with the company.
In addition to his work with FrontM and other new companies, Rob is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, USA, and an annual guest lecturer at 25 business schools worldwide, including Wharton, Yale, London Business School, and the Stockholm School of Economics. Rob has a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Minnesota, USA.
