Account Deletion Request
FrontM · onship
You can ask us to delete your FrontM or onship account and the personal data held against it at any time. We action every request — you do not need to give a reason.
How to request deletion
Complete the form below. Give the email address registered to the account — that is how we confirm the request is yours. If you no longer have access to that address, say so in the form and we will verify you another way.
If the form does not load, email info@frontm.com with the subject Account deletion request, stating your registered email address, which app the account is on — FrontM or onship — and your account or display name.
What gets deleted
On completion we erase the following from our production systems:
- your profile — name, email address, phone number, avatar, and contact preferences;
- your messages, calls, and conversation history, together with any files you uploaded;
- your device registrations, push tokens, and saved sessions;
- your authentication credentials and any linked sign-in identities.
What we keep, and why
A small amount of data survives deletion because the law requires it or because it is no longer yours alone:
- Billing and tax records. Invoices and payment records are retained for the period company and tax law requires.
- Messages you sent to other people. A message already delivered to another person's account forms part of their record and is not ours to remove.
- Fleet-owned data. Where your account was issued by an employer or vessel operator, operational records that belong to that organisation stay with it. Ask your administrator about those.
- Aggregated statistics. Anonymised, non-identifying usage counts that can no longer be traced back to you.
How long it takes
We acknowledge your request within 3 working days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with the GDPR. Backups roll off on their own schedule and are fully purged within 90 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — export anything you want to keep first.
